When you use SurfaceLocal, we collect information you provide directly: your business name, city, state, website URL, and email address (if you choose to provide it). We also collect usage data such as pages visited and audit results.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information you provide to run AI visibility audits, generate your score and recommendations, and deliver your results. If you provide an email address, we use it to send your audit results and occasional product updates. We do not sell your information to third parties.

3. Third-Party Services

To generate your audit, we query third-party services including Foursquare, Yelp, and AI platforms (Perplexity, ChatGPT, Gemini). Your business name and location are sent to these services as part of the audit process. We also use Stripe for payment processing and Supabase for data storage.

4. Data Retention

Audit results are stored indefinitely so you can return to them via your results link. You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us.

5. Cookies

We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

6. Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time. Contact us and we will respond within 30 days.
